Bishop Michael Burbidge of Arlington, Virginia, not too long ago issued
“A Catechesis on the Human Individual and Gender Ideology”. The
doc takes a powerful unequivocal stance towards transgender
ideology, all the way down to sensible specifics like telling the trustworthy we
should not use transgender names and pronouns. Past that, it excels
in displaying how the Church’s complete anthropology and theology are at
stake within the transgender difficulty.
Right now’s visitor, Fr. Stephen Schultz, was one of many Bishop’s
advisers in drafting the doc. Fr. Schultz is the director of
the EnCourage apostolate within the Diocese of Arlington, and chaplain
